Hot Melt Glue Nonwoven Laminating Machine

The hot melt glue nonwoven laminating machine is mainly used for gluing and laminating of fabrics and other soft materials with hot melt adhesives.hot melt glue nonwoven laminating machine It realizes environmental friendly products and realizes no pollution during the whole process of lamination, in accordance with national environmental protection and health departments' requirement. The machine has advantages such as good adhesive property, flexibility, thermostability and no-cracking property at low temperature. Besides, the machine can be operated easily and simply, with a Programmable Logic Controller system with touch screen and modular designed structure. Its non-tension unwinding unit makes laminated materials smooth and flat, guaranteeing good bonding effect. And its fabric and film openers also make the materials feed smoothly and flatly. For 4-way stretch fabrics, a special fabric transmission belt can be installed on the machine.

PUR hot melt adhesives do not require any water and solvent for assembly, which makes them ideal green glues. They can be used in functional waterproof moisture permeable films such as PTFE, PE and TPU. When they are applied in lamination, more materials which can be waterproofing and insulated, waterproof and protective and oil-water filtering will be invented, satisfying the demands of garment industry, motor manufacturing, medical industry, environment protection industry and others.

Sateri Oy, Vaalkeakoski, Finland, exhibited its flame retardant fiber "Visil," which is made of cellulosic material that contains silicic acid. It can be bonded to fabrics and nonwovens for use in fire service apparel.

Stork, Boxmeer, the Netherlands, demonstrated its new hot melt coating system. The machine applies a layer of low-gram weight adhesive to the surface of fabrics or nonwovens, and then composites them with another layer of fabric or film. The system can be integrated into existing lines.

When hot melt adhesives are applied, the temperature of the substrate must be suitable. If the substrate is too cold, the adhesive will set before the materials are bonded together. If the adhesive is too high, it will remain in the molten stage for too long and could come out of compression while still soft. This could lead to the formation of a weak bond that will fail in use.

Several manufacturers showed machinery for thermal bonding spunlaced and staple fiber. Dow Plastics, Midland, MI, showcased its Covelle HF weldable polyolefin film that can be thermally laminated to fabrics or foams to add sealing functionality. KKA Kleinewefers Anlagen, Munchen, Germany, displayed its Paraotherm calendering technology, which combines textile and nonwoven calendering with hot melt coating and winding technology. The machine gives users the ability to produce a wide range of products, including medical mattresses and surgical clothing. Its unique design allows for a wide variety of patterns and enables the calender to be used as an additive for thermobonding of high-speed nonwovens. This machine can increase production efficiency, reduce operating costs and improve the quality of finished products. It also reduces energy consumption, making it an environmentally friendly solution for the industrial sector.
